2027 Chevrolet Tahoe Interior – Photos & Review

After spending years of watching changes in full-sized SUVs designs and upgrades, Chevrolet has been one my favorite maker especially their Tahoe model.

It’s latest iteration the 2027 Chevrolet Tahoe model is a carryover model but it is, in my opinion, a model that solidifies Chevrolet’s Identity. The model has a perfect balance between truck toughness and the ability to have a luxurious interior.

Dashboard and Super Cruise Package

First thing that caught my attention is the digital dashboard. In Chevy’s past layouts, there were many many buttons that were too confusing but now we see a streamlined minimal cockpit.

  • The 17.7-Inch Infotainment Screen: Putting this as standard was an excellent decision. With the screen angled toward the driver, we have a screen that we do not need to lean toward to touch. IT has built-in Google voice assistant and google maps which i recommend you to use rather than using your phone.
  • The 11.0- Inch Instrument Cluster: I like that the instrument cluster is in line with your line of sight and that it is adjustable. It does have the possibility to be cluttered, but can also be set to minimalist.
  • Super Cruise: You should definitely consider the Super Cruise package if you’re a frequent highway commuter. Because Super Cruise has the best driver assist package including features like100% hands-off experience.

Cabin Space

The Tahoe’s rear side has separate rear suspension. As a result, the floor in the back is a lot lower compared to other SUV’s. Because of this, I wanted to see how comfortable this made the third row seating and i have taken test drive with my brother.

Let me tell you, back has a bench seat but depending on if you pick a multiple bench seat or not, you can fit between 7 and 9 people in the vehicle. I would highly recommend staying on the side of comfort and sticking to 7 to 8 people.

Seat and comfort space

The Front Rows: When a car gives you a 44 inches of legroom up front and 42 inches in the second row, it is an enough legroom i guess. Anyone under 6’5” will be hard pressed to find anything to complain about.

  • The Third Row: Unlike the experiences of older SUVs that made adults curl up with their knees to their chests, the 34.9 inches of legroom in the third row is decent and makes it comfortable for all short trips even for most adults. I personally think it has a great space.
  • Flexibility in cargo space: Behind the third row you get space of 25.5 cubic feet and jumps to an astonishing 122.7 cubic feet when all the seats collapse. I suggest you move around the second row whenever you want to see what works best to balance third-row legroom and the depth of the trunk.

Little Details That Won Me Over

When I wanted to look past the giant screens and leather, I looked for daily usability.

My Favorite Feature: The center console storage is absolute chaos in most SUVs, but I personally like how massive this one is. It’s practically a vault. You can easily hide a small backpack or multiple tablets inside it.

I think Chevy deserves a lot of credit for keeping a dedicated row of physical piano-key switches right below the touchscreen. When my hands are cold or I just want to blast the A/C, I don’t want to tap through three digital menus to do it. Having real buttons for climate control is a design choice I highly suggest other automakers to copy.
