Yamaha launched all new bike XSR 155 in India at very affordable price of rupees 1.5 lakh only. This bike looks classic but also has modern features. Many people will like this bike because it is good for both style and ride.

Design Overview
At front, bike have round LED headlight with XSR logo inside. Indian model have LED indicators too, European one no have. Color of headlight dome same as bike color. Parts made from metal, looking strong and good.
Suspension & Chassis
Front forks are 37 mm, golden color, but some models have black forks. Front fender same blue color as bike. Wheels 17 inch, alloy with many spokes. Front brake disc 282 mm size with Bybre caliper. Front tire size 100/80. But no block-pattern tires like European model. Tires front and rear are MR fresh brand, front not radial.
Bike has same frame as that of MT-15 and R15 which means this is going to be much stronger delta box frame. Even its side plastics are looking and feeling very solid.
Engine & Fuel Capacity
In terms of engine the Yamaha XSR 155 has similar 155 cc single cylinder, liquid cooled which is ready to produce 18.4 PS, torque 14.2 Nm of power. Even the radiator is looking same as that of MT15 and R15.
Fuel tank hold 11 liters. Big XSR logo on the tank. Fuel cap comes front like FG and MT models. Instrument cluster fully digital, round shape with Yamaha logo.
Features
Bike have assistant slipper clutch, traction control and dual ABS. Switch quality good same as MT15. Controls for light, horn, indicators, engine kill, hazard light all easy to use.
Seat is one piece, tuck and roll style with belt in middle for easy moving bike. Seat has enough room for rider and pillion, but pillion space small if rider big.
Rear Design
At the rear, metal parts add strength. There is Yamaha badging, a yellow stripe with sparkling blue finish, and preload-adjustable monoshock suspension, same as R15 and MT15. The exhaust system is different and bigger, giving a sporty look with silver color. The footpegs are well built for both pillion and rider.
The aluminum swing arm has a cover to protect the monoshock from dust. The rear tire is wide, a 140/70 radial. There is a 220 mm rear disc brake with a Bybre caliper and dual-channel ABS. The rear has a round LED taillight and LED indicators unique to the Indian model.
The rear plastic fender is high quality and short but strong. There is an LED light and reflectors for the number plate.
Weight & Seat Height
Weight about 140 to 142 kg, light and easy in traffic. Riding position straight back, foot pegs slightly back, handlebar wide. Feels sporty. Yamaha XSR 155 has the seat height of 810 mm, good even for 5 foot tall rider. Company revealed its ground clearance as a 170 mm and has mileage of about 45 km per liter which means you can go 300-400 km on full tank.
Price
Price 1,50,000 ex-showroom is good and cheaper than MT15. On road price for this is expected around 1,80,000 to 1,85,000. This bike will be available in blue, silver, green, red color.
