Let’s dive in. First, let’s talk about looks and design.

Looks and Design

The looks of the TVS Apache RTX 300 are very bulky and impressive. In the front, you get a dual twin LED setup, which enhances the bike’s looks even more. On the other hand, talking about the KTM 250 Adventure, its looks don’t seem as bulky to me as the TVS Apache RTX 300 does. In its front, you get a round design headlight setup, which looks okay.

But in terms of looks and design, I feel the TVS Apache RTX 300’s looks are a bit better because, man, its looks appear bulkier. So, on looks and design, I leave it to you—which looks and design do you like better?

Now, friends, let’s talk about features. First, about the features of the TVS Apache RTX 300. You get a full LED headlight setup. A 5-inch TFT console with TVS X-Connect, which includes Bluetooth connectivity features, navigation system, and even a Wi-Fi option. And in this bike, you get mirror mapping, which, despite the low pricing, provides very good features.

Along with that, there are call and SMS alerts, four riding modes, two-level switchable traction control, a quick shifter option, and even cruise control is provided. Now, friends, so many features are loaded that you won’t face any shortage of features in this new adventure bike.

On the other hand, talking about other features, there’s an adjustable windscreen, TPMS—that is, tire pressure monitoring system, which is available in the top variant. Along with that, GP Pro controls, USB charging port, and dual-channel ABS—all these things are available in this bike. So, in terms of features, the TVS Apache RTX 300 has no competition right now because, guys, it’s loaded with features to the brim. Now, it’s the turn of the KTM 250 Adventure.

Let’s see what features you get in this bike. First, I’ll tell you the features that are common in both bikes. There’s an LED headlight setup. A 5-inch TFT console is available. Bluetooth connectivity features, navigation system, call and SMS alerts—all these features are there. Along with that, riding modes, and a quick shifter option is also available in this bike.

Adjustable windscreen, USB charging port, dual-channel ABS—these features are also available in the KTM 250 Adventure. Now, the features you won’t get in this bike are traction control—you won’t get it. No cruise control. And along with that, no TPMS—that is, tire pressure monitoring system.

You won’t get all these features in the KTM 250 Adventure. So, in terms of features, in my opinion, the TVS Apache RTX 300 is loaded to the brim. You won’t face any shortage of features. So, in terms of features, I think the TVS Apache RTX 300 wins.

You get WP Apex USD forks of 43mm with 200mm travel, and at the rear, a monoshock with 205mm travel. So, in my opinion, in terms of suspension, the KTM 250 Adventure wins because good suspensions are provided.

Tires

Talking about tires, in the TVS Apache RTX 300, the front tire comes with a 19-inch wheel—100/80 front tire. Talking about the rear tire, it’s 17 inches with 150/70 rear radial tires, which provide very good gripping.

On the other hand, talking about the KTM 250 Adventure, it comes with a 19-inch front wheel and 17-inch rear wheel—100/90 front tire and 130/80 rear tires. So, slightly better tires are available in the TVS Apache RTX 300 because, man, they’re wider too and will help you with good gripping.

In my opinion, a very small fuel tank is provided. If you compare it with other adventure bikes, you get a slightly larger fuel tank in them. So, they should have provided a bit more fuel tank for this. But it’s okay. Now, friends, talking about kerb weight, you get 180kg kerb weight.

And while comparing dimensions with the 250 Adventure, you get 220mm ground clearance, 825mm seat height, and it comes with a 14.5-liter fuel tank. The kerb weight is 176kg. So, in terms of dimensions, the 250 Adventure comes out a bit better.

First thing I want to tell you is that in the TVS Apache RTX 300, you get a lot of good features loaded. But talking about the 250 Adventure, the price is higher, and in price comparison and features comparison, you won’t get as many features. But I will definitely say that if you want an adventure bike with good suspensions, lightweight, and you do a lot of off-roading, then choose the KTM 250 Adventure.

Otherwise, you get mirror mapping, GP controls, in terms of looks, cruise control, traction control, quick shifter, and along with that, TPMS, which is a good feature, all in the TVS Apache RTX 300. So, in my opinion, the best one for you is the TVS Apache RTX 300.
