Specs of iPhone 17 Pro
Reverse Wireless Charging
Leaked engineering documents shows new cutout below the camera bar indicate long-awaited reverse wireless charging. With this feature you can charge accessories like AirPods or even other iPhones by simply placing them on the back of the iPhone 17 Pro.
8K Video Recording
iPhone 17 is taking things to next level with support 8K video recording. Current models supports 4K but the upcoming models are going to make it significant effect.
This feature was previously expected in iPhone 16 Pro but it will now come into 17 Pro.
Dual-Cam Simultaneous Recording
To target content creators Apple is likely to bring simultaneous front and rear camera recording. I personally believe lots of creators will switch to iPhone 17 Pro considering this feature. However, it’s reportedly exclusive to the Pro models.
A19 Pro Chip & AI Focus
Apple’s upcoming A19 chip is going to boost AI performance and video editing. All iPhone 17 Models are going to have 12GB of RAM, it shows how much is apple serious about scaling up its Apple Intelligence technology.
iPhone 17 Air
I see lot’s of people getting excited about iPhone 17 Air but it’s ultra thin profile of 5.5mm has compromised lot’s of features like:
- Single 48MP Camera – No ultrawide or telephoto.
- eSIM Only – Even in markets like China where eSIM adoption is limited.
- Mono Speaker – No stereo sound; expect subpar audio quality.
- Off-Center USB-C Port – A rare design oddity for Apple.
- Weak Battery Life – Only 60-70% of users may make it through a day without charging.
AI & Apple Intelligence
Good news is All iPhone 17 models, including the Air, will feature Apple Intelligence features thanks to a RAM upgrade to 12GB. Apple has realized that 8GB simply isn’t enough to power the AI technology.
Anti-Reflective Coating Delayed
Sadly, most awaited new anti-reflective screen coating is delayed for some reasons. this technology is to improve visibility and scratch resistance. It is now likely to get in the 18nth generation iPhone.
Price Hike for Pro Models
Insider suggest that cost of Pro models could rise by $100–$200. Apple is expected to compensate this price hike with “enhanced storage” or “new features” rather than economic pressures.
